While my librettist is in Cincinnati, I’m happily attending the Music10 festival in Blonay, Switzerland. This is more a chamber music festival, but while I was at the Geneva airport I noticed a poster advertising Unsuk Chin’s Alice in Wonderland. Talk about kismet: I happen to be in town during the last two performances. Or, by “in-town” I mean a two-hour train ride to Geneva, 60 CHF roundtrip. I will probably be going Thursday.
